The 16th annual Montoya Awards were held on April 24 at Laborers Local 261’s headquarters in the Mission. The event, presented by San Francisco Public Works, honors building trades members who perform exemplary work above and beyond the call of duty for the City and County of San Francisco.

Honorees are nominated each year by their coworkers. This year’s awardees included Max Balma, Leandra Butler, Kenneth Jackson, Doug Joya, Yessenia “Luz” Ramos, and Charles Reynolds.
