As-Yet-Unpublished Shots of What SF Building Trades Members Have Been Working on During the Past Year
Published August 2025
Over the past year, building trades members from throughout the Bay have been exercising their expertise on a number of significant jobsites around San Francisco.
These builds, each of which was carefully negotiated by the SF Building Trades Council under project labor agreements, include a range of projects, from the relatively small to the mega-big.
We’ve kept our jobsite photographer, Jana Ašenbrennerová, busy documenting as much of them as possible since last August. She’s been out on visits to more compact projects such as a new EV-fast-charging station in the Mission (199 Erie Street) and the Mission Bay School buildout, as well as bigger ones like the Potrero Power Station megaproject and residential mid-rise developments in the City at 730 Stanyan and 555 Bryant streets.
All of the photos you’ll see here were among the many Jana submitted after each of her jobsite visits but have not been published until now.
