Multiple Building Trades Members Hard at Work Putting Finishing Touches on Mission Bay School
Published June 2025
Last November, we visited the Mission Bay School jobsite near the Chase Center on San Francisco’s east side to turn our lens on the work being done there. We captured lots of great shots of trades members laying the groundwork for this school, the latest addition to the SFUSD system, in the up-and-coming neighborhood of Mission Bay.
We returned to the jobsite on Tuesday, June 3, to check out the progress trades workers were making on the project, and what we discovered was a building nearly ready to make its debut as a new school.
We encountered glaziers, roofers and waterproofers, insulators, electricians, and many more expert tradespeople engaged in their crafts on a grand scale.
Enjoy the photos.
